Sound Therapy
Sound is life. Everything in the world can be measured by a variance in frequency. Our bodies are our own native instruments that produce distinct frequencies. Like instruments, we require constant tuning and maintenance to produce harmonious frequencies. Otherwise, we will feel increasingly dissonant and out of tune. Some days we may feel more or less “in tune” with ourselves. It is very important to make effort to keep ourselves internally tuned in and mindful on a daily basis.
Tuning forks are an amazing tool that can help maintain a sense of internal harmony. The tones and frequencies of the forks are often described as very relaxing and soothing. Tuning forks have a strong power to reset parts of our present state of being that has detuned and is creating friction.
Through a combination of vibrations placed on the body as well as resonated in the energetic field around the client, we will be able to create a new space. An open space — where the client is invited to go wherever they need to. Be it confronting our own shadow or just a gentle embrace of presence. In essence, sound is creating a portal of neutrality that can allow us to communicate with higher versions of ourselves, one that transcends the duality of our linear existence. Here, in this dimension, we can access our own inner knowledge for guidance.
I understand that my words may not resonate with everyone here. At the very least, sound is a great compliment to the physical work done with Muscle Activation Techniques. A brief time of relaxation after active work on the body allows the work to integrate even more deeply.
I generally provide sound therapy at the discretion of my own intuition, but feel free to contact me if you have a specific interest or request.
